The Cantonment Board has started an English Medium Primary school in the year 2012-13 for the needy students – residents of Aurangabad Cantonment. The school is duly registered under RTE Act, and is in receipt of U-DISE Code. The school has grown upto Std VIth along with the play school during the period under report.  The student strength in these classes together has gone upto 428.  The school is functioning in an old building.

Various programs were under taken throughout the year for developing awareness and creativity amongst the children such as Science Exhibition, Yoga day celebration, tree plantation drive,Water harvesting Project done by students, Swachatta Abiyan, study tour , sports day celebration, participation at Sports meet at Ahmedabad , Annual function etc.

School Management Committee is also constituted for the welfare of children and for notifying the day to day activities of the school.

   Any other initiative to promote education:

The school is provided with 40 benches and another 12 modern benches for the play school along with other play equipments.  Periodical repairs to school buildings of Cantonment Board have been carried out to avoid damage and with an aim to provide better facilities to children.  Construction of stage have been carried to conduct various functions at school, Charts, Books, educational toys, Furniture have been purchased.
